Shiloh's First Lost Tooth

Pin It Now!
I just can't believe my baby has lost a tooth already! She's growing up so fast and what a delight this child is! Still mommy's cuddle bug in evenings and mornings but also a sweet and sassy shopping buddy!
Sporting a cute outfit from a recent just-us-girls shopping trip. It is the ONLY outfit I have bought for her all year. Justice was having a store-wide 40% sale, so we went. Hated that I had to put sparkly flip-flops and matching headbands back. :( Oh well, the $2.50 flip-flops from Target work fine, and maybe I can go back and get the headbands to stick in her Easter basket. Love my girl!!!!!

Feeling Guilty

Pin It Now! Ew. It's been over a month since I posted. I am getting that same feeling I did when I quit scrapbooking a few years ago. For some reason I feel compelled to be the historian in our family--I need to write down our family's goings-on. I want my kids to be able to look back and see what we were doing and when. Blogging replaced scrapbooking. But . . .

Wow. Life just gets busy. And busier.

So, it's Spring Break for me. I thought I'd have time to blog away, but no. Here's my lame attempt at keeping up with our busyness.

*Our dog saga continues . . . boys are reading Cesar Millan books, we are reading a Cesar Millan book out loud, and we are watching The Dog Whisperer. I think the kids are kind of getting bored with the show, though. Like Lincoln says: Every episode is the same--dog misbehaves, Cesar fixes dog.

We've also been watching a show on Netflix called, Dog Town. The method used for rehabilitating dogs isn't my favorite, but one thing I have learned from watching is that I really do have a heart. I may not be classified as a down and out animal lover, but you just can't watch Dog Town without feeling so sorry for some of those sweet, little doggies. The Michael Vick episode was the worst. Poor, poor pitbulls.

Goodness, I fell in loOove with a Rottweiler I saw at Lowe's. Turns out her owner was a breeder who loves Cesar Millan. And one of her dogs just had puppies, but I had to stifle a huge gasp when I asked how much she sold her dogs for. Wow ~ guess we won't be buying a puppy from a "reputable" breeder. Who knows what dog will be in our future--I am praying for a perfect match!

Oh, and I am totally okay if it doesn't work out. :) The research is fun, though.

*I turned 35. Goodnight moon, that sounds so old. Still only have a couple of gray hairs but read that if I keep pulling them out, it could cause a clogged hair follicle, which would mean no hair. My thin-haired self can't afford that!

And what's up with the fine lines above my upper lip. I have never smoked a day in my life--not even once--so I shouldn't be getting these!!

I guess this will have to do for now. Time to prepare dinner. . .
